Thanks for helping me test the fix. You're the first person I've heard
of who tried SqzCtrl XL with the Touch as the server.

Just ordered off the Logitech site. Thanks for the link, not sure I'd
have found it otherwise, and for the reminder about the plates.
The unit is pretty pricey, and did consider getting one of the UK eBay
site, but then I would probably not have the right plug; and I'd prefer

SqueezeBox has always been lacking in this area. They have 90+% of
their users emails via MySB.com registration yet never utilize this

It would be nice with a community news site. Perhaps the easiest way
would be to 'set up a wiki page'
(http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php?title=Squeezebox_News)? That
would probably maximize the number of contributors, without spreading
the community effort over more different web sites than

SAVE THE KITTEN, VOTE FOR BUG #17411.
Airfoil is working for you and is probably the most complete/mature
solution out there. If it's $25 that bothers you there are things like
http://www.hersson.net/raopx , which Google found for me, but looks
quite a bit more challenging to install than Airfoil.

It would be neat if Logitech would licence SlimProto to other hardware
vendors... or even better, if someone were to write an adapter (and I
use that term very loosely) that would allow other hardware to emulate
a SlimProto-device.
Just a pipedream.
It's just that I don't see any post-Touch

Someone at Linn had developped a plugin bridging the DS with
