Sync is good :).
Got a bit of networking to sort out, but for now it's OK. Was confused
at first (as iPeng was fine), but realised a subnetting issue was
preventing the SBT from seeing the server (even though iPeng could
playback was fine). Once I changed network for SBT it saw my server.

I use the bluetooth feature on my box to provide a dedicated headphone
source.
Thanks.
Still have to get the SBT out, but sync on SB Player and iPeng works
quite well...

Done, thanks...
Since the volume issue didn't come up again since yesterday, there's not
much to look for in this log,
Something unusual to be found here?

Absolutely nothing different. I have an extra Pi and swapped that out
using same SD card. And same stopping same track.
Im beginning to think its my SB Touch.

Id like to mimic a SB player with digital out to my MH tube DAC.
Receiving WiFi stream of ALAC files.
So Im thinking a SPDIF (spelling?) board
Will you be contacting people who registered interest? Any outlook for
when they might be ready?

The laptop played fine first go around then started the same issue.
When I moved router I went back to RPi which

How do I go about doing an ALAC to ALAC file conversion?

But didn't you say that if you used LMS on your laptop instead with the
same files, they played to your
If you want to test the "it's the touch" theory, and you don't have
another player, you can download squeezelite-X from the windows store,
or, pay a couple $ for sb player (if you have an android phone/tablet)
or ??? if you have an iphone (??? = help me ipeople :))
I can't remember if you ever
I have not been using Pi as player. I just so happen to have an extra
Pi that I intended as player. Headphone output for test is capital
idea.
I would think the WiFi in Touch is pretty dated. Maybe using separate
WiFi router with Ethernet to Touch could boast performance?
I just unplugged Touch thinking maybe its some kind of cache issue.
Plugged back in - one track stopped at 37sec then reset and played all
the way through.
Playing another problem track - no problem. Not expecting resolution
because this has happened several times now. Change something and
If the problem tracks sometimes work without problems, then I don't
think converting ALAC to ALAC will likely help. Regarding how to do
that. foobar2000 has converter, I use dbpoweramp for ripping converting
(but it is not free), there are dozens of other converters. I haven't
used iTunes in
Thanks.
Once tracks start giving problem it is repeatable until I change
something.
