Update: My repaired SB3 has returned home from Slim Devices and is working perfectly again. The root cause was that the CPU board came loose from the main board, so they added extra adhesive to prevent that from happening again. Thanks all for your T/S help, but I guess it was a hard failure.

The web interface is certainly the easiest way to adjust the Server Settings IMHO, but there is also a Settings menu on the Squeezebox which allows you to access a lot of the main settings. If you have not adjusted the menu configuration, it will be one of the options in the top level of the SB
