XLD seem to have no support to embed the replaygain tags into flac, it

Yes, Firefox has had that since day one. In fact if you want to open a
link in a new tab, it's even simpler to just hold down Ctrl while
clicking it - saves messing

the active tab, or open in a background tab, leaving you at the source
tab.

(KOA Radio and KBPI Radio) with my Squeezebox Duet without any
problems.
For a couple of days now I was not able to tune in to those stations

There is a huge difference between the SB1 and the SB2 digital outputs.
On the SB2 the left music channel always goes to the left, the right
music channel always goes to the right. On the SB1 the channels get
randomly swapped. This is apparently a feature of the Micronas chip
used in the SB1 and
