I've been trying to listen to BBC Radio2 here in the UK. Whatever device

The RealAudio streams work OK for me (outside the uk) using AlienBBC.
You could consider using AlienBBC as a backup when the iPlayer streams
do not work.

'fraid not. I've tried Alien BBC and the problem is just the same.
Stuck on connecting and not a peep out of any
Does BBC iPlayer work on your PC ?
If so then the AlienBBC problem is in your SC setup.

Aha! The original BBCiPlayer is stuck at Connecting to media... so
there is obviously some major problem at their end. Suppose I should
have thought of that myself. Thanks bpa

When I am shopping for music it would come in handy if I could scroll

The other possibility is something to do with your ISP - perhaps
blocking/managing/shaping the audio streams in some way.

You may want to clarify this statement: It doesn't matter if your
library includes 100 tracks or 100,000. Or if you rip your own CDs or
buy your music from services like iTunes, Amazon MP3, and eMusic.
People will own historic iTunes tracks with DRM on them and these do
not work in SC AFAIK

I haven't looked at the site yet but I think it's a great idea. When I
