I haven't looked into the N800 tablets, so I can't really tell.
Squeezster depends on QT 4.7, which I don't think is available on the
N800 series.

Maybe the streams has some strange metadata that I try to send to the
server (and which it doesn't like and makes SqueezePad disconnect).
I use last.fm from a browser on my laptop at work and add tracks that I

I also have quite a large library of music on my whs server at home

We need to investigate this. If not: you're not alone :-).
I've opened a bug report to track this issue:

I hope they don't waste their time on a Duet MKII. The Touch is better

Shame it doesn't have a video output--that display would still be darn
hard to see across the room from my couch. Also $650 to play 128kb

How could you control 2 players simultaneously, unless they're
sync'ed?
SqueezeCommander's user interface, like all SqueezePlay based
controllers' ones, requires you to

I'm running CyanogenMod 7.0.3 (Android 2.3.3) on a Motorola Droid. It
may be a problem with the connection dropping or reestablishment like
you said. This phone is also CDMA instead of GSM and that might be
affecting the behavior as well.
You could probably simulate the problem by manually
