Which players are being used? Running SBS on a PC or NAS? The players
are losing connection to internet or to your network?
Unplug the two new players and see if the original player will work as
before, then add in one player at a time to see if they affect
playback.
Might be an IP conflict.

That's interesting. What version iPod Touch do you have (3G, 4G)? Are
you running the latest iOS
I love the Wikipedia integration - it works really well! I use Wikipedia
a lot to look up discographies and stuff - now I don't have to go out to
te web browser to do it! Nicely done!

Are you using the TC as a DAC? - The problem is certainly within the TC
or more likely whatever the TC is connected to. S/PDIF cannot distort
or overload in the conventional sense, because there is nothing higher
than 0dB so if the distortion goes away when you lower the volume it
must be
Yes Im using the TC as a DAC for my SB3.
The TC is a professional device that has very high headroom. Distortion
is maybe not the correct wording. It is difficult to describe; maybe
saturation is a better word. Vocals are usually the material where this
saturation is easiest to hear when it

Yes, all DSP functions in the TC are off. There is nothing in the TC
that is further amplifying the SPDIF signal. The TCs output is fed
into a Cambridge Audio 840E preamp which should be able to handle it.

My bet is that the TC output is slightly too hot for the
Ill do some measuring to find out. Ill report back with the results.

iPod touch 4 running 4.2.2 (jail broken, but I don't think that
matters).
I've been visiting my in-laws so have been using it all weekend on the

Well, well, dont I feel stupid now... Cant believe I missed that one!
I did my measurements by running a WAV file with a 0 dB / 1 kHz sine
wave signal through the SB3. The output of the TC is indeed way too
high at 0 dB digital in. I lowered the TCs output stage so that it
outputs 2 volts RMS
You could prolly use the web interface.
But the remote control that came with the SB would work just as well.
Unless you HAVE to have a graphical interface...

That's what I thought, but I wondered if someone had modified an App
and hacked the Kindle.
I use my laptop as a controller more that the IR Remote.

Yeah, that would work much better than a Kindle IMHO. I use my Xoom,
iPads work well also...

I once tried to load up the SqueezeBoxServer webpage on my kindle and it

Hi Sue -
Thanks for the info. Yes, I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it.
It also updated over the weekend - no joy. I tried low bandwidth and
high bandwidth. I also tried downloading a track - wouldn't do it.
My iPod Touch is a 64GB 3G. I can't imagine that's the issue - I know
1G
I have to admit I didn't read this entire thread.
I have the latest version of iPeng for iPad and I can't find any of the
new social features and your post and website provide no clues.
I'm sure this stuff is obvious but...please help.
Thanks.

E-Mail sharing will work immediately but you can also use Twitter or

A 1x1 widget that basically turns playback on or off would be awesome.
