Re: [slim] Rescan doesn't pick up all tracks
Whats in the scanner log or server.log ? Permissions, is LMS allowed to read everything. Any other pattern is everything fro a certain drive missing ? Or behind a shortcut ? You get the same result after a scan for new and changed and a clear and rescan everything . Have you deleted the cache folder ( stop LMS/SBS first ) and tried. Re: [slim] Can't get USB Audio working in Squeezeplay...
Thanks Aladdin ;-) There's been progress. I got it working... sort of. I'm using 11.04 Natty on the joggler. I commented out the pulse.conf load line in the asound.conf in the usr/share/alsa directory. Trouble is, it's given me the speeded up sound problem now (10% or so fast, so it's the old 48000 vs. 44100 thing again) My latest post on this was: It's hardware related. I bought some logitech s-150 usb speakers that don't have anything other than the usb cable that feeds the audio. These are what are recognised by the joggler as the USB audio items in proc/asound/cards. They work fine for system/youtube/xbmc, but squeezeplayer plays 20% or so fast. Adding the rate 44100 line kills the sound off completely though. I also bought a small usb audio card similar to yours and that works fine and plays at normal speed, so it must be down to the audio driver chip in the speakers. I need to have usb-powered speakers in the kitchen though as I don't want to have to pipe the audio into the small audio system already in there. I don't understand why squeezeplay doesn't play nicely with the sound when xbmc and the rest of the system do! There must be something that can be done to force squeezeplay to access the sound drivers in the same way, surely? -- carled carled's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=50618 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91367 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Re: [slim] Random Mix + filtering?
erland;667834 Wrote: To do this, you need the third party SQL Playlist plugin (plus Dynamic Playlist plugin) and TrackStat plugin, the Random Songs menu provided with SQL Playlist will make it possible to ignore recently played tracks. Currently you can only tell it to ignore everything played within the last 12 weeks but if you really need 6 months I can extend the template to support this in a future version. If you know some SQL, you will probably be able to customize the SQL yourself, else just let me know and I'll enhance the template. The TrackStat plugin is needed because the Random songs template currently checks recently played songs towards TrackStat data. I would love something longer than 12 weeks. 6 months or even a year would be nice. -- garym Location 1: Vortexbox Appliance 6TB (1.10) SbS 7.6.2 Transporter, Touch, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio) Location 2: Win7(64) laptop LMS 7.7.0 TouchBenchmark DAC I, Boom, Radio w/Battery (all ethernet except Radio and laptop) Retired: SB3, Duet Receiver Controlled at both locations with: iPhone (iPeng), iPad (iPengHD SqueezePad), CONTROLLER, or SqueezePlay 7.6 on Win7(64) laptop Ripping (FLAC) - dbpoweramp, Additional Tagging - mp3tag garym's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=17325 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91394 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
[slim] Feature Request - History
I don't know if this already exists somewhere. I can't find anything similar. Most Reciva radios have a Last Listened or History menu item. This saves the last 10 stations listened to. Something similar would be useful on SB units. Does it exist? -- castalla 1 Touch - Muse M50 EX TPA3123 T-Amp Mini - Acoustics Q10 speakers - 2 duff ears - purrfekt! castalla's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15624 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91403 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
