thingy that could immensely improve the experience ,that we discussed

The PLAY:5 sounds great and using "Autoplay" can act as a basic powered
speaker for your Touch:

Maybe you want to take a look at the Nubert NuPro100. Unfortunately the
nubert.de Website is only available in german. They are small active
speakers with all necessary Inputs (spdif, toslink, USB and analog) and
it is possible to use them stereo or single. I own a paar of nuvero 60

I have bought a second hand squeezebox touch to replace my squeezebox
boom. The sb boom moves to my daughters bedroom.
Now I have a sb touch in a 17m2 kitchen. I would like to have a good
quality single speaker to play my music at low to moderate levels.
