using 7.6.1 or if through a direct connection to Mysqueezebox.com, that
the web interface (both with Firefox and Chrome) indicates an insecure

You really won't take anyones word for it will you? If you open the
ports you will be port scanned and someone will hack in. It happens all
the time.
In my experience, SB rebooting is usually the PSU dying and not able to
deliver sufficient power momentarily when the going gets tough. If you
still have the old SB3, try a different PSU..

Not directly that I'm aware. Just the obvious, start playing the
favourite and then save it as a preset.
