Thanks for the feedback. Once I dound that requesting MP3 worked then I switched back to concentrating on getting the 6 new stations working with the plugin (they completely changed their metadata format from what is being used by the rest of the stations). I'll try to do some more testing with

It plays OK in VLC. It seems it is a 48kHz 32bit floating-point sample stream which is a bit unusual. It should be in ADTS format ( https://wiki.multimedia.cx/index.php/ADTS ) and so the format would be endcoded in the first few bytes - the following are from the stream Code:

Linux via ubuntu works great on a lenovo laptop - a nice, trim, lean machine that has open office built in and is essentially virus proof. For surfing the web and editing office docs it's fantastic. But I wouldn't try to run lms on it. Get a Pi. All the hard work has been done for you. Sent
