The BBC from the UK has a lot of "Old Time" repeats, especially on BBC
Radio 4Extra. You'll need to have the BBC iPlayer Plug-in enabled (one
clic from SETTINGS).

Try increasing the screen brightness with the remote. Could be a dead
screen which the only fix is to replace it.

Did you measure the PSU output while loaded, i.e. when driving the
Squeezebox? It's quite common that the PSU can deliver the right voltage
with an open output but when it's connected to the SB the voltage drops.

Then it just died. Checked the PSU with voltmeter: > 5V.
Removed WiFi card: did not help.
When I plug in the squeezebox, I can see a flashing red LED near the
