I believe there have been some reports on Transporters that stubbornly
refuses to output audio, but it's always worth a try to do a Xilinx
reset.

For a variety of reasons I won't go into, I've not been using my
Transporter of late. Normally it drives the receiver and speakers in my
living room, as well as the Bluetooth transmitter I use with my Bose
headphones. For a while all I've been using has been the optical out to
the BT device.
Also, forgot to add that the commands are documented here, rather than
on github.

The windows exe file doesn't seem to be hosted on gitgub, and the wiki
links etc on there don't work. Has this been abandoned now?

I just got one of these - it's an Alexa device with decent sound. It
has 2 additional features: using Alexa it works as a DECT phone and you
can call contacts direct from the speaker. For LMS it also appears as a
player if you have the upnpbridge plug in installed - it's the only
Alexa device

Thanks for your comments. I believe have found an answer. The problem
was being caused by setting in BubbleUpnp. For the piCoreplayer render I
had to select "Use Eventing" in the UPnP Tweaks section of the settings
