Oh, the joys of embedded players.:)
It runs a RealPlayer stream, but I've only actually got it running
once.
Can't figure out why it's embedded in a .mov

Obvious question I know - but why didn't ask your audio installer for
the name of the device?? :)

I don't actually play music on my desktop that much and, as WMP was
already installed, couldn't see the point in installing a second
application just to play back music (besides SoftSqueeze).
Therefore the WMP extensions seemed to make sense to me :)

Are you asking whether a Squeezebox can play Shoutcast?
In which case the answer is yes :)

it into a screensaver.
Maybe have cover.txt in each music directory which could be loaded to
the screen. - think it would have to be 40x40 though.

But you don't need a full install of 6.5.2 to cure this 'problem'
The only files required are from the slimserver/Firmware folder.
Maybe the developers could make this available as a seperate download,
until the official 6.5.2 release??

.
The latest version of the firmware works OK with 6.5.1
There is no need to install a beta release of 6.5.2.
Why is this such a big issue??
