I am aware of that! I'm presently building a garage with loft that's going to be my home office. This is seperated from the main house and I'm not running speaker cable to it. I'll be purchasing a Squeezebox for aural entertainment there -(and to ease my guilty conscience!) Peter -- meep

spent a few days this week playing with this Tversity seems to be the only way. Gets FLAC files to the xbox 360 and have the added benefit of serving video. Would be nice if this functionality could be added to slimserver, especially video. peter -- meep

[slim] Help: Can't rescan iTunes

but no luck. SlimServer still found the single FLAC album. I cleared the music path field and did a rescan, now SS finds 0 albums 0 tracks. Any ideas how I get my SS instance to connect to my iTunes again? Thanks Peter -- meep

You are, of course, correct. That will teach me to jump to conclusions. I set up Windows Media Player to play to one of the analog outputs and this too prevented SDPIF output. Should have tested that before posting! Peter -- meep
