You can also open SlimServer by typing http://localhost:9000/; in any
browser address bar, Firefox, IE, Netscape, whatever.
You can also make a bookmark in Firefox so you don't have to click the
systray icon.

haven't had any problems with mine. Of course there are times when my
Radio Paradise stream freezes, but that I blame on Internet weather. The
Squeezebox can't guarantee that your stream won't occasionally freeze,
no device could guarantee that, not even the MacMini.

Remember, no matter how much compression they are still bit perfect.
There is a small premium in CPU usage on the compression side, but not
much at all on the playback side.

usually use the Fishbone skin, but I tried a bunch of others and the
result was the same.
The tracks play just fine, so it's a minor inconvenience. but it's not
right, and it was right in 6.3.

You could prolly use the web interface.
