Just want to mention that I am experiencing the same sync issue as the OP. Trying to sync my SB2 with my new Boom; I found the SB2 was approx 5 seconds behind the Boom. So watching this thread with interest. -- pnharrison

Inspired by Marth, I checked / refreshed the system time on my Ubuntu server which runs Squeezecenter; (it looks like it wasn't being updated correctly) And this seems to have resolved the issue immediately; my SB2 + Boom now sync perfectly. Thanks for the help all. -- pnharrison
