Will that be manual switching each time, or could the SB3 be set up to
handle the switch?

quite some time to populate, this gets tedious.
Is there any way to change this (apparent) default behaviour, so that
left arrow would always navigate one step back/up from where one
currently is?

read up on the upcoming version 7.4. It introduces some more automated
switching between an SC and SqueezeNetwork but only for the radio style

Is there a way to reset the player, or what else could I try to do to
fix this?

Oops, solved it myself :). Unplugging the mains plug and rebooting the
player was all that it fortunately took. Haven't had to do that before,
so I didn't come think about it.

Thanks for the tip, Slimkid; I'll try a clean install this evening.
As for the JNPL-files, I can't find any entries for that whatsoever...

The uninstall / clean install trick worked like a dream! Now everything
is up and running, and I can now access the Squeezecenter from Firefox

Thanks a lot! B-)

Hello,
I've understood from what I've read, that the cross fading option would
cross fade only when not playing albums, but for me it cross fades
everything when enabled. Have I misunderstood the functionality, or am
I missing some settings?

There is a way by manually changing a config file but this problem has
been resolved in SC7. In SC7 you can give all favourites your own
