message and now I read up on the upcoming version 7.4. It introduces some more automated switching between an SC and SqueezeNetwork but only for the radio style products. That could perhaps be tweaked also, we'll see. Regards, .brum -- .brum

[slim] SqueezePlay URL accepts only IP, not name?

DNS service providers to get a static domain name to the ever changing IP. Therefore it would be useful to be able to enter a name based address. Or learn how to do it, if that is already possible :). Rgds, .brum -- .brum

Hooray! The uninstall / clean install trick worked like a dream! Now everything is up and running, and I can now access the Squeezecenter from Firefox without any changes in the browser settings... Thanks a lot! B-) -- Brum

[slim] How to restrict cross fading only to non-album playing?

Hello, I've understood from what I've read, that the cross fading option would cross fade only when not playing albums, but for me it cross fades everything when enabled. Have I misunderstood the functionality, or am I missing some settings? TIA, .brum -- .brum
