That sounds like the setup I'm after. I take it I just install
SoftSqueeze on the laptop? And I'm not sure how to point the browser on
the laptop to the Slimserver running on the main PC. Thanks for your
quick response.

Right. Seem to have got everything talking to each other, but seem to
have a slight lag between the SB2 and the laptop. When I sync the main
PC and the SB I don't seem to have any noticable difference in the
timing. Have I missed something somewhere?
Thanks in advance.

Tried that one with no joy, but not since the firmware upgrade. Worth
another go!
I love clutching at straws. I particularly like the screaming noise
they make as they slip through your fingers...

TKIP is the only WPA option available on my router, so there shouldn't
be an issue there.
Should the rekey value be left at 0 (which I'm assuming means never) or
set to arbitrary number of seconds?

Left it running last night undisturbed, but stream had stopped when I
checked it this morning. This way have been due to my one year old son
doing a bit of keyboard bashing! Unfortunately the window got closed
before I could note down any reports. I'll just keep testing.
Thanks

can run that will help you all get to the bottom of the

Thanks, This is a version of mplayer is a definite improvement, but
still got garbled output after about 30 minutes. Seems to restart the
stream ok without any immediate problems as before. I'll keep listening
and see if the problem exhibits any sort of pattern.

. Got to pop out for a while now, but I'll let you
know if it's still behaving when I get back in.
Thanks for your time.

recovered.

Weird. Moving the scroll bar on the cmd window will make the stream skip
and repeat until you stop playing around with it.

a couple of minutes of selecting a BBC stream. Am I
missing something? Any help much appreciated (if only so I don't have
to go and dig my old tuner out of the loft!)
Thanks in advance.
