[slim] Plugin with client input?

I'm thinking about writing a plugin that looks up a phone number and displays the name of the subscriber (by using internet service). The phone number should be entered from the remote. I've looked around for a plugin that does something similar but couldn't find one. I couldn't even find a plugin
