I support this. However, before anyone contacts Sirius, a laymen like myself needs to be able to know what to tell them. In terms of showing support how about someone start a facebook group and let's get everyone here to join it. Or maybe start a petition and get people to sign it. There is a reason why SiriusXM sent letters to everyone who has a Logitech device.because obviously alot of people were using it. jojopuppyfish's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9400 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=104395 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss

Re: [slim] SiriusXM now works on Squeezebox radio with lifetime subscriptions
I was using the (not so) Sirius Plugin because it had support for lifetime subscriptions with internet. Sirius had 2 seperate internet feeds. If you purchased internet it was something like 128 bit If you had the lifetime subscription it came with internet but it was 64 bit. The official sirius app made by logitech only permitted internet accounts with 128 bit per specific instructions by Sirius. Now that Mel Karmazan is gone, most likely the new ceo made a change where all internet feeds are the same. Because this is the first time I used the offical sirius app from Logitech where I was able to connect and use it. jojopuppyfish's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9400 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99349 ___ discuss mailing list discuss@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
[slim] SiriusXM now works on Squeezebox radio with lifetime subscriptions
After the 3rd party app no longer worked, I gave up using sirius on my squeezebox radio as I needed to have a 128 bit account and I only had a 64 bit account due to having a lifetime subscription with internet. So for the heck of it, I tried to logon with my account today using the official squeezebox app and it now works with my lifetime subscription Anyways, I may be the last to know, but it now works. Tried the following: In your touch, go to settings, advanced, diagnostics and write down the two TCP ports used by the touch to access your squeezebox server. Mine were 3483 and 9000. Open avast ver 6, go to settings, troubleshooting, open tab redirect settings. In the HTTP ports box, you will see some other port numbers in there. Add your two ports obtained from your touch. This is what I did to get it to work again. I removed my wifi card from inside the sb3.including the wires Then I reset the device by holding down the add key on the remote and putting in the power. This is the factory reset Next, I did the Xilinx reset by pushing down the 1 button on the remote and then plugging in the device. So at this point the device could only use ethernet. It forced the device where I had to type in a static IP. Then it appeared to work. So I readded the wifi card and its working good now.
