Installed 7.2.1 on top of 7.2.0 yesterday, and all appeared OK at first
sight.
However - now some of my old MP3 will no longer play. No sound -
everything else seems OK. That is - they will seem to play - time on
controller is moving, but there is no sound at all.
The problem is the same

Please note no problem with the files before, and files play without
problem in Media Player

Are you trying to play the songs directly from the Music Folder view or
the Album view (or similar), or are you trying to play the songs via
playlists?
There is an open bug about files with special characters not playing
via playlists, but I think it's common to all platforms, not just
Windows.

About to un-install 7.2.1 again, just found out
this version will not play some of my old MP3's
I *think* the problem is related to speciel char's
in the filename and/or tag data (danish æøå ÆØÅ letters).
