For what it's worth, I too had trouble with SqueezeCenter running SLOWLY. I dl-d and installed twice yesterday and finally went back to SlimServer 6.54 which works fine. [I've never posted here so I don't know exactly what technical information is useful, so I'll just list the basics on my

This is just a speculation on my part, but based on the descriptions above, perhaps the culprit is mysql ? It has a slow query log that can be enabled by using the --log-slow-queries option http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/slow-query-log.html Maybe someone with a performance problem

Just to state the obvious (since noone else has), there are a lot of us out here for whom squeezecenter is working perfectly (just as quickly as slimserver). I don't know what's wrong with your setups, but it seems like it must be fixable. The only thing I can think of off the top of my head is

I'm with you on this one. I installed SC7 and all seemed fine - for about 60 minutes. Then the web interface ground to a halt. Responses from the remote still OK. I'm running the default skin through IE7.0.5730.11 on Windows XP Pro SP2 with an AMD XP 2800+ 2.09GHz processor, 1GB RAM and 40GB
