I have a Squeezebox Duet (for 5 years). Just bought a Raspberry Pi and put all my music on the attached USB Ext Drive to the Pi. Configured RPi with samba to acces my music files. My question is, can i use my squeezebox duet to connect directy to the RPi music share instead of running the

You must have Logitech Media Server (LMS, formerly slimserver, SqueezeCenter, or Squeezebox Server) running somewhere for your Duet Receiver to play the music. You could run LMS on the Raspberry Pi itself. Search these forums and you'll find the relevant threads.
