Well, there are plenty of radio stations out there. You can access them directly over the net. I got my Squeezebox, Duet etc to allow me to store my CDs etc on hard disk, so that I could access play them back via my home network. Squeezenetwork did not come into it. Keep smiling, The

All SB players need to be connected to some server. This can either be your local SqueezeCenter or SqueezeNetwork (which is a customized version of SC, more or less). If SN ceased to exist you would have to run SC locally. SC is open source so development would still be possible. The SB firmware
