Yeah, despite having a controller, I generally just use my PC and the web interface or the regular remote. I really should fire up the Controller and update the software at some point though, changes since I last used it will be significant :) -- funkstar

ok, i think i got the wrong end of the stick from your first post. Where is your music stored, on the laptop or iMac? Which is running SqueezeCenter? If you have set up a new wireless network they you will need to provide the SB with the details to it can connect to it. I would recomend not

Right, ok. Thats actually what I thought then i first posted. The WEP key is what was used when your wirless network was set up. The same one you used to connect your new laptop to the wireless network. As I said before, controlling SqueezeCenter from any other PC or Mac on your wireless

lets see if I get you ? If you have your Imac on anyway then its simple. You have noticed that SqueezeCenter uses a web browser interface :-) On your laptop you only have to type in http:// your imac's ip-adress :9000 in your browser. !Caveat ! dont forget your laptops firewall Antivures etc

Hi My original setup is Imac upstairs+Squeezebox downstairs. Works fine Now I have a new laptop. I want to experiment with choosing my music from the laptop, not the squeezebox. I only want to use the squeezebox as a a way to connect the laptop wirelessly to the stereo. what do i need to do?
