Hi,
The solution is in commit 8088f125a9a (on Mar. 29). I'm not sure why
it really started, honestly, but it seems related to the removal of
gruel and some delicate balance we had working beforehand. Why it's
happening again, I'm not sure. With luck, though, upgrading SWIG to
2.0 wll fix

Stupid, but obligatory Q: Did you clear the build dir?
Yes, deleted manually the build folder, did a git clean -dxf, the whole

Hi all,
I'm trying to add new module following the tutorial in
http://gnuradio.org/redmine/projects/gnuradio/wiki/OutOfTreeModules;.
But when building I got these errors:
[ 5%] Building CXX object
lib/CMakeFiles/gnuradio-testmod.dir/testbloc_impl.cc.o
I always build from source as there are some additions from dl2stg
needed for HiQSDR support.
I think I'll ask him to submit them upstream.
# cat /usr/src/gnuradio_audio.diff
diff --git a/gr-audio/lib/alsa/audio_alsa_source.cc
b/gr-audio/lib/alsa/audio_alsa_source.cc
index 4f0042b..fe41e43
I created a mentor account, but I'm not sure how to link to GNU Radio. Could
someone add me or provide a link?
Sincerely,

Sure, but then you are sharing your proposal with your potential competitors.

Dear GNU Radio,
I am looking to use the GRUEL msg_queue for passing messages (of PMT type) from

I can use the old gr.msg_queue as shown below:

How would I use a GRUEL message queue? Anyone have any
Thanks Jordan, this is super helpful.
I made the uhd/gr-uhd changes that josh suggested and using the following
code snippet. I now can see EVENT_CODE_BURST_ACK (event code == 0)
messages coming back from UHD at approximately 30msec intervals.
self.async_msgq = gr.msg_queue(0)
More information on this.
I checked the build directory to see if the gruel/msg_queue had built.
cd ~/src/gnuradio/build/gruel/src/lib/msg
ls
**nothing**
I then GREPd my python/gruel directory and couldn't find any msg_queue either.
This leads me to believe that gruel/msg_queue wasnt installed.
