Brian, yeah good questions. So, the computers in my lab are going to all be running Ubuntu 20.04 like next week, so we're forced to use that. Not that I mind. I like Ubuntu a lot. And I'm planning to use both GNU Radio 3.7 and 3.8, because I will be porting some custom blocks we wrote in GNU Radio

The new Ubuntu 20.04 does not include Python 2 anymore. But GNU Radio 3.7 requires Python 2. So then can you run GNU Radio 3.7 on Ubuntu 20.04? I think there's still a package that you can instal to add Python 2 support in Ubuntu 20.04. I found a bunch of websites that make it sound like this

Hi, I just updated my Kubuntu today without thinking about GNURadio (and due to my OOT not being ported to 3.8 yet I am still stuck on 3.7). I still have python2 running like a charm. But I could not get the QT bindings running, since my KDE is using QT5 and trying to install Qt4 looks like
