Hi Guys,
I generalize here a question that I have posted in the Mapserver-user
mailing list, as it concerns the whole OSGeo world and not only MapServer.
Some companies choose commercial software such as Oracle MapViewer, Oracle
Spatial etc.. because they offer the security of commercial support.

Well, while we're mentioning specific companies... OA Digital
(http://oadigital.net) provides assistance and support on a wide range of OSGeo
solution components. Even support for solutions still encumbered with legacy
stuff.
Actually a Google search in your native language or with your country

Hi all.
To me, this means our marketing could be improved, raising the visibility of the
commercial support page.
All the best.

Frank,
But the existing system doesn't get to the questions I've seen in this thread, namely, about searching for companies
with mixed capabilities (open and proprietary) experience. I also see it as expanding on what's there already, not
overly complicating it.

All,
Replying to my own posting to make an addition. There is still no indication on the front page about (commercial)
"Support" providers. Should there be some link on the front page about who (can) support the OSGEO projects? seems
like a link to the Providor page should be included at th

rethink the navigation strategy to have a page specific to "Support that
