Jeff would be a great asset to the OSGeo board. I’ve always enjoyed working

I am really glad that Jeff is accepting the nomination. I know him since
many years now, and we worked closely on a lot of different projects. He
has an outstanding knowledge of OSGeo projects and its community, literally
endless energies, a huge commitment to the open source move

I had a chance to catch up with jj0hns0n at foss4g and hear a little bit
about his vision and passion for our organization. As has already been
noted Jeff is known for two things in our community: extensive
outreach/advocacy and
+1, Jeff is a tremendous positive force for the community. He's constantly
teaching, training, helping, pushing the state of the art, and more. A really
great choice.
