Hi,
I have try with waveinput without success.
But read somewhere in this forum than waveinput for doing this is only
the last thing to do.
Could any body help me ?
I have Kubuntu 14.04 LTS (upgraded) with last LMS, Chrome(Netflix), VLC,
Audacity, ...
I will really appreciate to be able to use
Aha - you had already started a new thread.
To summarise the responses in other posts ... when using a keyboard with
pCP it is driving Jivelite (the UI).
The starting point for keyboard usage is as documented for SqueezePlay

Waveinput will not normally work with video as audio and video will be
out of sync due to different network paths.
The only way to make it work is to use somehting like mplayer and to
manually tell mplayer to alter the time gap between audio and video
stream and even then sync may not be good.

I guess my question is to unusual to have any definitive answers. I have
bought a used V3 which should arrive either Friday or after the weekend,
so I'll go from there, with a test setup.

You have two issues.
Your original question was about multiple instances and I think
waveinput will still work but it will depend on the sources allowing the
command to get the audio (e.g. aplay). Windows source may be different.
Your second problem was how to get a radio signal through 3
No, it's not. Sleep timer is one long-press on the big "pause" button in
iPeng, can't get it much easier :)
The small pause button at the top of the screen will do, too, but you
won't reach that with a thumb. But it means: wherever you are in iPeng,
sleep timer is always directly accessible.
Hi
Well, working on a big redesign right now so all feedback welcome!

Actually wifi has a range that's 10 times that of BT, at least regular
consumer units, so there's no reason wifi shouldn't work (which I've
already said it does - I never said that wifi was blocked!) in the room
even if I can't get BT to work reliably. Long speaker cables is, as I
said, my

I've missed something here, you are the guy who makes this app?! :)
It's iPhone 7 and latest iOS 11.2.2
Wow, Ill investigate the crash and fix in the next update. Which device

Nice to meet you! Now we can get to work and improve it. :)

I just want you to think on one thing when you redesign it, BIG
userfriendly buttons as well as a lot of options as it have now.
Long press and hold on the eg Radio Station logo will bring up your own

All wavinput does is copy an audio source and feed it as a 44.1Khz PCM
stream into

I have been using my Synology NAS, which sits behind my cable TV router,
as a VPN Server for connections to my LAN from remote locations.
The only use I have for this is for using LMS/Player combinations,
usually but not exclusively on my Android Phone, on the rare occasions
that I am away from
+1 Great Thread. I echo the thanks not only to the many contributors of
their time and expertise, but to the entire community, because, if were
not for this family, support could have dwindled.
My story. Despite the "junior member" (low number of posts, I'm more of

Does this system partially exisst now ? or is this part of a design
exercise ?
Do you understand how a Squeezebox actually works and its relationship
to LMS?
Do you have a LMS ? Are you trying to use Squeezbox player without an
LMS ?
What are your Squeezebox player e.g. Sb3, SB Classic, RPi3 ??
Because a home automation colleague here in Norway who's been using
these boxes for years and years thought it would be the easiest and most
cost effective way of doing it. ;) I asked in a home automation forum
here, and I have asked in several other audio forums before, and nobody
has ever been
But why squeezeboxes ? If your not interested in LMS and it features ?
Sure you can have some other endpiont running on an rpi3 , all Hat dacs
out there are not expensive and you get new stuff not >10 year old
hardware .

Thanks Michael.
*Music Store: *Synology DS215J NAS*
Home Server/Player:* LMS 7.9.1 on Pi 3B piCorePlayer v3.22
Server/IQAudio
I have been following, but not fully understanding this thread, for
quite a while and thought I'd better ask the question.
I think if you're using VPN to access your LMS at home, then you're on
the safe side. Nothing to log or investigate.

£350 for a Sonos Connect vs £35 for an RiPi with Squeezebox.
No contest! Plus, the system does more (even if Sonos is good in some
ways).
