I've got an SB3 that seems to be in good working order, except that IR blaster is not able light up IR diodes plugged into the headphone jack. I'm assuming it's probably the capacitors, but replacing those is beyond my soldering skills.

Hi I have several Squeezebox units, mostly SB3. I've always used analogue connection. I am buying a new amp - Denon PMA-30 - and I see that it has digital input. I have no experience of digital at all so I am not sure if the two units will talk via digital cable, nor what cable I need to buy.

I've connected an SB2 to a denon avr-x2500h with an optical link cable. No digital coax in available on the denon. *SqueezeBoxes:* 1x Transporter (Living room) 1x SB2 (shed), 1x Radio (Kitchen), 1x Boom (Dining room), 1x piCorePlayer (jacuzzi), 1x piCorePlayer (Garden) 1x OSMC + Squeezelite
