I've googled a lot and didn't found a solution. Some help would be
gratefully appreciated !

Yes, sorry it should have been 0.100. I've updated my original post.
I'm going to add an option to allow that option to be changed from the
command line.
Yes, I think it's a good idea ! many thanks.

Hi,
I'm running linux mageia 3. I installed the rpm without problem but it
doesn't start.
My perl version is :
# perl -v
This is perl 5, version 16, subversion 3 (v5.16.3) built for
x86_64-linux-thread-multi
When I try to run it manually, I have the following :
# /usr/libexec/squeezeboxserver
I installed beta 7.8 and it works !
Thanks a lot, it was a bit of a nightmare to make it work since the
change of my distrib to perl 5.16, so all much better. Also, I'm using
musicIp too with LMS, and that's very great, I wouldn't change for
anything in the world.
Another question : everything
Hi everyone,
I currently have a squeezebox 3 that I use for something like 10 years
now. I'm very happy with it, the LMS with all the fantastic plugins :
trakstat, musicip, irblaster, and so on.
It works ok so far but I would look for a better sound, it's notably
better when I play the same

You better buy a 'Wandboard'

'Raspberry Pi' (https://sites.google.com/site/picoreplayer/home) or

Yes, you must be right, that may be a good start before buying or

I feel ridiculous with my irDAC ! ;-)
Good advice too.

Finally, I purchased a used squeezebox touch on ebay, for about 300

I'm happy with it so far, sound seems a little bit better than with sb3
and it's of course more nice to use.
it's just that I can't have IR blaster to work with it. I'll

What do you mean by abandoned the Squeezebox lineup ? They still have

Well, I am not sure. I don't know much these products, but SONOS is sold
everywhere and Bose have also a similar (?) product line.
Anyway, people say they're very easy to use, which is not the case with
LMS.
LMS is too

Not only transporters are appearing. I missed a UE radio sale on
amazon.fr some months
Hi all,
I recently bought a "new" (never used) transporter on eBay and I'm a
little bit surprised because it heats up a little bit in stand by mode.
I mean, it's not really hot, it's just a little bit warm, as my other
gears stay always cold when not in use. Is it usual ?
Thanks !

Thanks for the answers
That's seems logical to be a little hot then.
It's because the transporter in my house is in a quite completely closed
cabinet so I wouldn't want it to be inappropriately hot. Moreover, the
case has no apertures on the side, as far as I saw.
That's fine then,
Thanks !
