jack are key selling points the
SBR lacks. Some will appreciate the cost saving of a SBR + SBC, some
will appreciate the benefits of a SB3 + SBC. Give users the choice :)

yea been reading the spdif python script stuff. Just getting through the
ac3/dts rips now, I had originally ripped the MLP sources.
I forgot you cant do 5.1 PCM over spdif, everything else is connected
by HDMI these days :)

yea got it working.
It seems silly you need to jam the ac3 and dts data into another
container that wasn't intended to have that data.
Why cant the squeezeboxes just stream dts and ac3 straight through? :P

Note to anyone else that stumbles in here.
Not only should you disable volume control also make sure to disable
crossfade or you'll ended up with static junk at track changes :)

Many of the out of date libs have numerous severe security flaws,
although attacking the pc via squeezeplay might be a very long shot by
an attacker [emoji14]
But plausible. In fact it would be trivial to distribute mp3 files or an
album zip with a malcious image.
Performance and stability
So I had a dream the other day that I might setup a Pi and such running
Squeezeplay, then I saw the "official" source is full of out of date
lib's.
I figured I could get started with updating on Windows and then fixing
the make files for linux and then get it compiling on ARM etc.
It turns out

Fair use personal recordings are a statutory right in law for many
countries.
No contract a copyright holder claims you have entered removes or
lessens those statutory rights. In fact they are likely breaking the law
if they even imply your rights have been reduced.
So in countries where it is
I believe Google Play Store removed Squeeze Commander because it has
access to sensitive data eg contacts, storage etc but has no privacy
policy. Many of the apps permissions I believe are a consequence of
being built for older Android before finer control was possible.
This means even if you
If we want to address all the broken Tapatalk in this forum, the

Let me know if it really does behave correct over a few days because for
me it does not.

Default is cookie and instead should be changed to database.
I do not believe this is a user setting.
It is for the site admin aka Michael to set forum wide.

Yep, woke up an hour ago with that update listed in the Android status
bar.
It could be broken
Read/unread is still broken for me.
-I have set general discussion forum as all read in Tapatalk and
browser, this does currently show correct in Tapatalk as read in the
main board index
-I enter general discussion and it shows Pi 4 and Pitastic as unread
-so I open Pi 4
-Go back to general
I just swapped my Squeezebox Boom for a Google Hub Max. LMS with
Chromecast bridge works fine.
The Boom was a classic but the screen is dying a and costs a fortune to
replace. It also had a dodgy barrel plug on the back. And the Hub Max
looks better and offers more functions.
Hi Chris,
Would you mind sharing some of your hard work on configuring the
TC-10?
I am slowly getting the devices on the TC-10 to work for me.
The Ethernet port works with module natsemi
I have not figure out the X11 graphics driver yet. When you initially
configured it, what did you use in
I figured out some of the settings required to get the TC-10 up an
running.
Using the latest version of Arch Linux (which I use at work), 2.6.15
with udev pretty well gets all the hardware.
Ethernet is natsemi
You have load evdev driver to provide kernel support for the touch
screen. I added
