Stream bit slow Stream bit fast two streams interleaved ? chunk of audio being dropped or swapped mid stream so audio is single stream but a bit jumbled ? I odn't know anything about MacOS and RP flac stream but the main difference between Squeezelite and Local Player is the "direct local file access" setting. Thanks for the reply Chris. I did see your report of the problem when I did some searching, I also noted that it did not seem to be resolved. Are you using the "Local Player" plug-in or have you installed Squeezelite on the Mac? I see that you have the same failure line in your log as is in mine. I don't know why it won't open the JB-R2 and fip files as they are mp3. Yesterday I managed to install "lame" on the MacBookPro but it made no difference. Do you have a link that will instruct me how to install Squeezelite on the Mac? I would find that really helpful.:) Ronnie. I have tried playing through Squeezelite using the MacBookPro internal speakers and Spotify works, the BBC Listen live streams work and so does Radio Paradise 320 stream. JB-R2 and fip do not work.
