To whom it may concern, My name is Tennessee Leeuwenburg, Editor-In-Chief of The Python Papers (http://pythonpapers.org). I am looking for expressions of interest to write an article for our next issue. I am contacting many people in the web development arena to try to strongly theme our next issue. I would love to include an article from the core Django team which talks about this web framework. As one of what I think most would consider the top three frameworks (depending on your needs, obviously) it's really important to be able to cover it well.
I am happy to include an article on whatever Django developers are most excited about presenting, but if anyone would like some suggestions, I have a view: * A description of how development on Django occurs, a behind-the- scenes look at how the project works and how open-source collaborative development occurs * An article covering some of the strengths of Django for website development, containing both technical information (what the nuts and bolts are) and business information (what Django supports and why it is a good choice for a projects) * Interviews with key developers -- a look at some of the people behind Django However it goes, I would be happy to work closely with anyone on putting such an article together. I have subscribed to the daily archive for this list and will keep an eye out for responses, but if anyone who is really interested could email me at [EMAIL PROTECTED], that would be much appreciated.
