Hi,
We use Git to version control our modular DocBook XML code base. I´d like
to enforce stricter change management than what simply inspecting the Git
log manually offers. Specifically, I want to trace each modular DocBook XML

to combine profiling with validating after a commit to check that
changes did not break other documents and that business rules are adhered

After switching font from Verdana to Arial (company policy), we have gotten
feedback that the 8pt text in tables is too tightly kerned and a bit hard
to read. Increasing the font size is not an option due to space issues.
Is it possible to customize kerning beyond flipping the kerning attribute

Trying to use the unicode check mark symbol (check; Hex2713) from

I use oXygen 11 (saxon 6.5.5 and FOP) and DocBook 5 with the 1.75.2

stylesheet default.
The problem
Which parameter or attribute group do you set in XSL-FO customization (DB5)
to make inlinemediaobjects use only the font/line height and not cause extra
space between the lines when it is inserted? That is, how do you avoid that
the icon pushes the line it is on a few mm down?
I'm sorry but I cant. Our documentation is classified and subject to NDA
