None of the `id' attributes are output in the resulting div or
img. What can I do?

* Norman Walsh:
/ Jean-Baptiste Quenot [EMAIL PROTECTED] was heard to say:
| I'm using Norm's stylesheets for output in HTML, from a DocBook XML
| document processed by Resin, an XSL aware Java server available at
| http://www.caucho.com/. I want to use the `id' attribute of output
a validating parser. I had the same problem
with J. Clark's XT, and then noticed that Jade could handle XML
documents as well as SGML ones.
Hope it helps,

I'm using jade 1.2.1, jadetex 3.6 and dsssl-docbook-modular-1.71. I set
(define %hyphenation% #t) in my driver file. Hyphenation works OK
except in admonitions (note, important, etc.). I always get
Overfull \hbox in these...
What's wrong?

Jean-Baptiste Quenot
... Is it as good as JadeTeX? What are the differences?

* Dave Brooks, BCS Systems:
Well, the path:
[tex] - jadetex - [dvi] - dvips - [ps] - epstopdf - [pdf]
gives me graphics in the PDF;
[tex] - pdfjadetex - [pdf]
doesn't !
Did you try [tex] - jadetex - [dvi] - dvipdf - [pdf] ?

* Richard Sharpe:
Well, I have no problems getting a PDF into my DocBook stuff. Of course,
I think I had to modify the DTD to allow format=PDF ...
I used fileref='gabarit.pdf' format='EPS' and it works ok.

* Bradford, Denis:
Bingo! My system ID for the DTD didn't use the file:/// convention at
all.
AFAIK, the convention is not « file:/// » but « file:// ». The third
slash is only required on UNIX systems, in order to denote the root
directory.

* Lisa Rupe:
Is it possible to put HTML tags that are not well-formed into
xsl:template?
Yes, by using CDATA sections ![CDATA[/td/tr/table]]
or by escaping and to lt; and gt; in a xsl:text statement
xsl:textlt;/tdgt;lt;/trgt;lt;/tablegt;/xsl:text

HTML's title/ tag, for example to make my company name appear
in all window titles.

I used to reference listitems using xref/ in 1.24 stylesheets and it
gave me the number of the listitem in the orderedlist. In 1.44, it does
not work anymore, listitem is not handled in common/labels.xsl.
Am I wrong somewhere? Thanks for your help!

I doing wrong?
Be sure to validate your document against the DocBook DTD using onsgmls
(or nsgmls) before doing anything else.

then the document you have in your editor (ViM) is not
the same as the one for which errors are reported.
Anyway, interesting to hear your point of view.
