Hello,
I downloaded DocBook 1.56.1 and 1.57.0 and I'm trying to use the
htmlhelp.xsl with the RELEASE-NOTES.xml file from the DocBook distibution.
I tried about 5 XSLT processors (XMLSpy, Unicorn, MSXML4.0, Saxon,
Sablotron through php_xslt module) and none of them worked. Each of them
fell down

I almost stopped to trust in XML world...
AFAIK docbook doesn't work with xslt

Hi,
yes, I did this, but I thought this may be some problem
which is worth to be fixed in a newer release of the

But there is another more generic template that
you might like, and you don't have to write it.
It is in fo/titlepage.xsl and starts with:

If you copy that template to your customization layer,
you will get a stack of authors and
Hi,
thanks for the link, but I think this will not work.
I still get an [ERROR] null.

Hi list,
I want to use appendixes, but somehow it seems I got something wrong.
Here is an example:
appendixtitleMyIndex/title

/appendix
In short, the appendix/ tag should be used for things other
than indices, glossaries, bibliographies, etc. If you markup
a glossary inside an appendix, it its the glossary for the
appendix, not for the larger document.
Well, if I open any nonfiction book from my board, I find exactly

Hi,
thanks for the tip. I turned on the debug mode and found a large

I tried a smaller xml-file and double-sided=1 works. But I think this is
the wrong approach for me - I thought with double-sided=1 the margin
on the left and right side of the paper switches for even and uneven

Hi,
I set the margins myself:
xsl:param name=page.margin.outer4cm/xsl:param
xsl:param name=page.margin.inner2cm/xsl:param
If I disable this, I see the same fo:simple-page-master .../ element
with the two different margins you mentioned. But there is still no

Hi Dave,
We've been using epcEdit here in the IBM Linux Technology Center for the
