Hi :)
I find that is the best way to learn. Just by doing and then finding something
doesn't quite work and stumbling on the answer later, perhaps by seeing a
different page where the thing did work. Dipping into the wiki help guide
helps too but experimentation is the main way.

Thanks again Jean, that certainly pointed me in the right direction,
although I s'pose if I'd been sensible enough to use the editor
controls I might've got a bit further ahead.

Hi :)
Hmm, not sure what you mean exactly. Do you mean at the very bottom of the
page the
[[Category: FR/FAQ/Base]]

[[Category: Faq/Base]]
But Categories might be set-up on a special page that i have no idea abo
Ok, thanks both.
I saw the save but wasn't sure if there was any checking done,
apparently not.
I'll check the format for hyperlinks.
For this, and the small text, I'm taking the html tags out of the
French pages, so these ones look very much like them, hands across

Hi :)
Errr, just at the bottom of the page, under the editing/comments is the "Save
Page" button. I can see the change "Markers" made at 19:46 hrs (GMT), so about
an hour ago.
I'm not sure what the problem with an http address was. Can you try it without
doing any [] brackets around it? I th
My strong preference is for ODT, because the Alfresco instructions are part of
the Contributor's Guide, which is in ODT. (The chapters can be downloaded from
from the wiki.) The instructions could, of course, also be wikified and put on
the wiki in that form as well. I had always intended for al
Ok, thanks for that.

Ah, and it seems to object if I put in hyperlinks. The second
article (only) points to a page in the OpenOffice Wiki, but the

Well, I had planned and prefer to do it in a .odt and generate a .pdf
at the end but, if people would rather have it on the wiki, I could do
it on the wiki instead.

P.S. Alternatively, you could put one link "Alfresco Login" pointing
to http://alfresco.libreoffice.org and one link to "Alfresco Browser"
pointing to http://media.libreoffice.org

Hi Jean, Rogerio, *,
I'll start work on Monday on revising the Alfresco section of the
contributor's guide, with screenshots and explanations. I'll be
finished by Wednesday latest.
I'm thinking that the said section might be content specifically for
English docs team contributors, while I might d
