Hello
Had a quick look at the bottom three examples on the wiki page, the three that
seemed to have the least number of errors. In my opinion, all three examples
are not good enough to publish because of the formatting problems, for example:
1. No widow and orphan control
2. Headings not being

I've run a few baseline tests using LibreOffice, Calibre, and a couple
of extensions that output EPUB. Results are here:

Hello,
I've made some changes to the 6Apr edit of GS4209. It can be found here:

Tom,
All of that is somewhat irrelevant to the issue that Peter and I are
talking about. The conversion tool (whatever it is) has to use the ODT
produced by LO as its starting point.

Hi :)
There have been enquiries on the Users Mailing List about how to
convert documents into ePub format and we just point them to external
tools such as Calibre. I thought Caligra also did this better than
LO?

I went one year. It's a good conference, very small. No "stalls" or
other displays. I took some flyers and stickers, but everyone there
knew about LO already and the public isn't involved. (I also gave a
talk about the work of the LO Docs team.)
So... if someone from LO Docs can go, I think it's w
Hi :)
I've just spotted this conference on the Ubuntu Mailing Lists and
thought it would be fantastic for LibreOffice if people here could go.
My guess is that the Marketing Team already have it on their
calendars but it sounds like it's mainly aimed at documentation teams?
Is anyone here already

Hi :)
Errr, it is great to see documentation that helps people through and
that seems to have greatly helped loads of people on the Users Mailing
List. Congrats to all for translating and modifying it. It is MUCH
appreciated. It also seems to have helped attract more attention to
it and enabled

Hi :)
The internal HsqlDb appears to have lost data for quite a few people
in just normal database usage. Is Firebird also likely to lose data
for people? Base only appears robust when using an external back-end.
Have bug-reports been filed against the Firebird back-end? Does the
handbook help
Six more chapters of GS4.2 have been published and are ready for Milos
to clean up.

Hello
I agree with Jean about converting the guide files into ePub format about
getting a good-looking result.
I have tried a couple of times to convert a document file into an ePub format
and iBooks format. By their very nature, ePub formats have to be very flexible
