Side note (the AOO chapter template): I noticed the new looks for the Note/Tip/Caution tables. I'm a little partial to the ones with a graphic though. Lists could not be placed in them though. With some experimenting, I found a way to eliminate that problem: use a frame. Give the frame the background and border properties for OOoTip, OOoNote, or OOoCaution. Also remove these properties from these three styles. Yes, I also am subscribed to the odfauthors mailing list. Very seldom does anyone use it any more. --Dan -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to documentation+h...@global.libreoffice.org Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/global/documentation/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted

I found that using a frame works well for PDF (and print) production but fails badly in conversion to other formats such as HTML and ePub or even wiki. The tables don't work all that well in conversions either. I know you've done some work hacking ePub files, so perhaps you know of a way to deal with this that doesn't involve time-consuming manual work. I think it's important to make our source files as conversion-friendly as possible, even if it means that any one output format isn't as exciting as we'd like. Of course, if there were a magic macro or several to deal with conversion issues, that would be ideal.
