All, We had a similar situation at Mount Beauty about 15 years ago. An IS 28 stalled and went into the trees on top of a ridge. It was held hanging vertical by the tail plane. The canopy was smashed. The pilot and the young boy pax simply undid their harness and stepped onto a huge branch
