Hi Tom,
I never new about these hot keys, I just use up and down
arrow. Neither of the mentioned hot keys work for me in 3.1.9.2.
The differences between F8 and up and down is that F8 lets you search
your history. Type in a few characters from within a search you've used
before and then press
