Larry, Good idea, Larry. I'll be interested in reading about the results. Years ago I brought my TR7 to field day as a backup rig to a then new Kenwood TS940. We ended up abandoning the 940 in favor of the TR7. Though the 940 wasn't menu driven, the TR7 just all around performed better. 7
