Fellow enthusiasts,
Trying to help out a local friend. Anybody have a 2BQ for sale? If so,
could you email me details about the electrical and cosmetic conditions, and the
price?
Enjoy those Drakes.

pictures and comments.
Address is:

I have been off the air for awhile and I am trying to resurrect my
TR-4C/RV-4C from storage. My brother had used the rig up until
several years ago and it was working fine then.
I am having two main issues with the equipment, and I believe they
are related to the VOX and Relay control
it's been way to long for me to remember. I also
stumbled across that I have to have the key out to use SSB (which is why
I couldn't get a transmit).
As the rig warmed up, the problem of kicking out of CW came back and the
XMTR GAIN doesn't have to be up very far before the transmit kicks
off.
Try turning the ANTIVOX control fully counterclockwise - I think you have it
set for maximum, and that the side tone (as an audio output source) is
countering the VOX function that the sidetone generator uses to keep the
radio keyed.
Good luck, and 73
