I was fortunate to have met Garey when he was visiting some family 
members in nearby LaFox, Illinois.  I have his 2B CD and it has been a 
great help in keeping that old receiver in great shape.  I hope that 
something can be worked out with his family to keep his Drake legacy 
alive.  He was a real resource, and a fine man.

It is real sad to hear about Garey's passing. I met him (sadly just 
online) long time ago, at the beginning of my old tube radio interest. 
He was one authority on Drake gear and was always willing to help. His 
legacy with the wonderful Drake CD-ROMs will sure be an asset to all of 
us and will help to keep his memory alive.


We will miss you, Garey.
