Hi to all
i would like to spin up a new shared storage
should i use drbd 8 or 9?
Additionally and more important: are there any ways to totally avoid
splitbrains? Obviously, the network used for sync is fully redundant (at
least 2 or 3 bonded interfaces)
Is this enough?
if i understood properly,
We have problems with our three node DRBD 9 setup with CentOS 7 and Xen
4. When one of our nodes is rebooted, or becomes unavailable, the other
nodes freeze entirely without any information, or give the following
message:
kernel:NMI watchdog: BUG: soft lockup - CPU#2 stuck for 22s!

Anyone using ZFS with DRBD, in production?
As I knwo, ZFS likes to have direct access to disks, to manage them on it's own.
How do you handle this with DRBD?
