Just tested kernel 5.0-rc1, the boot problem with monitor going to sleep is
still happening. Same workaround (turn the monitor off / on, switch to tty1,
restart sddm) helps.

It is the PP_OVERDRIVE_MASK bit that fixes this bug. AMD developers, use find
