Hello, you have to initialize the database see Step 11 https://wiki.duraspace.org/display/DSDOC5x/Installing+DSpace#InstallingDSpace-InstallationInstructions prior to creating the admin user account. The database will autoinitialize when you start the application. Hope this helps Claudia
